well, if u know about my interests, you know about 90% of my personality traits sooooo congrats!!! u can figure out my personality traits by looking at this chaotic page!!!!! for ease of navigation, im gonna put a list here so yall can jump to whichever one you care about lol
Out of all my hyperfixations that I can remember since sometime in 2013, my love for 90s kpop groups is arguably one of the interests that have shaped my "personality" the most. For context, I've been into kpop since the summer of 2017, but I started learning more about first gen groups during my freshman year of high school in late 2018. Since then, my favorite 90s kpop groups have never been dethroned and they helped me thru so much that i dont think i'll ever get over them lolol. For reference, my favorite groups are:
If you want more information on some of these groups or if you just want content, go to my page dedicated just to first gen idols!!
Now now, even tho my first gen boys are highest on my list, i have to give credit to the current generation of kpop for getting me into kpop in the first place!! Even tho i don't follow most of the groups i used to, i still follow a couple and they still have my support even if i don't technically "stan" anymore :))
fyi, i'm talking about the original Meteor Garden that came out in 2001 so plz don't get it confused with another BOF adaptation lol
before i got into the original meteor garden, i had already watched the Korean BOF adaptation and i was halfway thru the Mainland Chinese remake. however, while looking something up regarding the remake's f4 (who aren't my type anyways sorry lol), i saw a few photos of the original f4. i did about five minutes of research and realized that i absolutely had to watch the original bc of the era it came out in and how gr8 the cast looked in the photos alone. long story short i finished the original in a month and it took me almost another year to finish the remake. oh well, i don't regret a thing.
n e ways, as i rlly liked the casting for this mg, it was inevitable that i would get into f4 as a group!! though im not usually one to listen to slower songs like some of their most well-known stuff, i learned to love it and sometimes you'll catch me listening to "Meteor Rain" one too many times XD
during my sophomore year in late 2019, i found myself getting more curious about jpop, particularly johnny's idols. the peak of this phase wasn't very long, but i absorbed a lot considering i only fixated on it for three months!! anyways, my main johnny's groups are:
I had gotten into every group except for kat-tun and arashi during my sophomore year, but i got into kat-tun and arashi during the first half of 2021. even though this, compared to kpop, is one of my shorter notable hyperfixations, i still do my best to keep up with these groups...it's honestly harder to keep up with these groups unless ur actually active in the fandom, in which im struggling to keep up :((. i still support all of these groups and i listen to them from time to time, as well as watch their youtube content!!
